Quickbooks 2010 runs on Windows 10.
I am no fan of Intuit, did I say that out loud? Its true, from grad school days where a VC spoke and said, "we will not invest in a company running on Quickbooks."
If you are not running payroll, and you believe the following to be true: 1+1=2, then there is no need to waste money with Intuit upgrading Quickbooks. Despite what you may have read online... blah-blah-blah Windows 10 and the demise of Flash Quickbooks 2015 and below are no longer supported. NOT TRUE!
Installing QB 2010 is as simple as 1-2 (that's it, no 3)
- Prepare Windows 10
- Confirm flash is installed on your PC. Check for Flash in Apps/features. Flash is available from Adobe here: https://get3.adobe.com/flashplayer/update/plugin/
- Ensure Internet Explorer (IE) is enabled
- Install Quickbooks (QB)
- To avoid the QB installer from checking for pre-requisites, install QB using the quickbooks.msi installer, install using the Windows troubleshooter.
- Browse your install cd to the Qbooks folder, right click quickbooks.msi
You are done!
